Fold Architecture Inc. is currently seeking candidates for immediate part-time and full-time positions on a contract basis, with the possibility of future full time permanent employment. We are pursuing applicants with experience in the following areas:

• Architecture Technologist with 2-5 years of industry experience
   

• Intern Architect with 2-4 years of industry experience
   

• Designer, with 2-4 years of architecturally related residential or commercial experience

Your experience and skills include: 
 

• 2-5 years of industry related experience

• Diploma or Degree in Architecture or Building Technology from a accredited post-secondary institution;

• Excellent skills in Revit. We are a Revit based office; prepare to hit the ground running.

• Other Assets: Strong understanding of Sketchup, Adobe Creative Suite, rendering software (Enscape or similar), hand sketching, and physical model making. 

• Strong technical understanding of building technology, assemblies and construction, and building envelope performance in our coastal climate. 

• Growing knowledge of Part 3 and Part 9 of BC Building Code, and the ability to analyze municipal zoning bylaws; 

• Be a creative thinker and problem solver and design solutions from complex program and site requirements

• Produce high quality, accurate construction drawings and details to facilitate permit packages and construction documents. 

• Be a self starter, have ability to work independently and collaboratively- please leave your ego at the door. 

• Ideally work from our office based in Victoria, remote opportunities are available for the right candidate. 

• Must be able to legally work in Canada
