While at Francl Architecture, Mark Ashby acted as Project Architect for this five-storey mixed-use infill project in Vancouver’s Chinatown District.
 

The project used an innovative structural system to enable construction on a previously constructed foundation and parkade. The suites, arranged around a central courtyard, mimic the historic urban form of Vancouver’s China town while providing daylight and cross ventilationto all the units.
